The thief's test down in the cavern was too short, should have been more like the one in Drakensang: The Dark Eye. The warehouse was ok, interesting to see that situation from both the Fighters side and the Thief's side. The follow mission was OK, but after the fight had a hard time finding the traps to follow.

I rather enjoyed the wholesome appeal of the original game and spent some very pleasant long hours with it. However, so far, River of Time hasn't quite given me that same feeling. They were released as Drakensang: The Dark Eye and then later River of Time / Phil's Secret came out so looking at it that way it makes sense to play them that way. Honestly they're different enough story / type wise (TDE is a big you're the hero story & RoT is more of a Mystery one) so that doesn't matter. From a game play mechanic's I'd say
