The KTM 890 Adventure R made its debut in 2021, offering a significant upgrade to the aging 790 Adventure R. It features an 889cc parallel-twin engine that produces 105 hp and 74 lb.-ft. of torque, thanks to its additional 90cc, 2mm larger bore, and 3mm larger stroke compared to the 790 model. 790/890 Duke came before the Adventure, but most Adv guys want a low first and second gear. For slow rolling stops, I just use second. The engine performs best at higher RPMs, but I like to keep mine at 4-6k. My 790 Adv R will need new chain and sprockets soon, and I plan to replace with the stock sizes.

Turn on the ignition, push the cruise control button to the left for 5 seconds, plus for 5 sec, minus for 5 secs and then twist the throttle forward. Done. Will try this. New bike, CC as part of the Tech Pack installed.
