It's not open world. When selecting a race you have to press Y to go into free roam. You get to choose if you want the normal cars or the police cars. All you do is drive around its really pointless. I recently reinstalled NfS Hot Pursuit (non-Remaster) and played that a bit. So I have the save game state at the most current level on my system folder somewhere. The question is, will the Remaster make use of that game state, and possibly update all the achievements appropriately?
