Feels undercooked, more buggy than normal with bad checkpoints and long loading screens. Game is also balanced for co-op or at least with anNPC tagging along which makes stealth a bit hard.

Far Cry 5 is a much slicker experience than Far Cry 3 in regards to gameplay, graphics etc. it’s a better gaming experience for sure. But I wasn’t impressed with 5s narrative or characters at all (quite disappointed actually) and that is where 3 is superior for me. Also, 3 is a commentary on many gaming / action hero tropes.
I think Far Cry 5 and Far Cry 3 are the best ones to choose from. Far Cry 5 has a more modern setting and improved gameplay mechanics, while Far Cry 3 has a really compelling story and memorable characters. If you had to choose, I'd suggest going with Far Cry 5 for a more polished overall experience. 1.
